Two elderly sisters share an apartment in the inner city, but because of past “unforgivable” offences, refuse to speak to each other except on Easter, Christmas, & shopping days. Because their decaying neighborhood has become increasingly unsafe, the sisters are obliged to live & shop together for protection. Tormented & Intimidated by young toughs, they are robbed. Their brother, a priest, pays a visit and these three not only take control of the wretched situation, but are determined to rehabilitate their abusers. During this unusual, often hilarious, effort, lives are altered— some, in unexpected ways. Auditions: Sun & Mon. May 4 & 5, 7 pm For info: Email : beverly-ann@comcast.net.

Anyone who’s ever had kids knows that they don’t stay cute forever. Eight-year old Tina Denmark is a parent’s worst nightmare. She’ll do anything to get the part she wants in a school musical. Mix together The Bad Seed, All about Eve, Gypsy—add stage mothers & precocious brats, and you’ve got “Ruthless!” With a cast of zany characters & some of the wackiest musical theatre numbers you’ll hear this side of Oklahoma, this show definitely ain’t Annie, folks! :Director: (317) 295-1961 (after 5 PM.)

A warm-hearted story about a pastor in a small midwestern town who is trying to save his historic church from the ravages of time & an indifferent church hierarchy. ‘Tis the week before Easter & the pastor’s irascible secretary; the striking choir ladies; and refugees from the flooded river, who’ve taken refuge in the church basement, are ALL giving him grief. Plus, a lovable hound has dug up the rose garden. Info: (317) 846-1581 or Email the director at: grantr@iquest.net |

Three women, who are residents of “Eden,” an assisted living facility, discuss their lives. One woman reminisces about a man she’d loved many years ago. Discovering he is going to be living in Eden, she excitedly fantasizes that they might get together again. The still charming, handsome gentleman arrives, but with a disagreeable sick wife in tow. The three women discuss ways to “correct the disturbing situation.” The plot takes a diabolical twist, & things somehow, don’t quite turn out as planned. For Info: Call the director (317) 895-6734 |

An acting couple are on tour in Buffalo in 1953, in repertory with Cyrano de Bergerac and Noel Coward’s Private Lives. The action takes place in the “Green Room” with the couple thinking they have a chance to work in films with Frank Capra, a big-time Hollywood director, so they want to showcase themselves in a fabulous performance. Add to the mix a daughter, her fiancé, a grandmother, a lawyer, and the problems & laughs build up shtick by shtick. info: Email phylly8175@sbcglobal.net, or call the director (317) 842-2811.
